Ballarat Aero Club Welcomes all. All you need is an interest in aircraft and you're welcome at the at Ballarat Aero Club. The BAC believes that sharing aviation with people from all walks of life not only makes us better pilots but better people too. So come down to the club and have a look at our aircraft, talk to our instructors or just sit back with the kids and watch the planes come and go.

Trial Instructional Flight

Trial Instructional Flight

Thinking of learning to fly, but not sure? Why not book a Trial Instruction Flight. Our instructor will spend about half an hour explaining how aeroplanes work and how to operate the controls. Then you will be taken on a half hour training flight where you will learn how to operate all the basic controls and fly the aeroplane yourself. Discount Packages

The Committee has decided to offer members two discount packages for members that will reduce the cost of flying for them. One is a Bulk Package in which members can pre-purchase 10 hours in a club aircraft for a 10% discount. The other is a Premium Membership in which for an additional $100 on top of full membership fee the member receives a 10% discount on aircraft hire. Duty Pilots Needed

Duty Pilots Needed

How would you like to spend an interesting day at the Aero Club a couple of times a year to help out in the office and receive a small remuneration in return? More Duty Pilots are needed to so if you can find time to volunteer for a couple of Saturdays or Sundays each year, please let Len Kennedy or Rob Toogood know. Len can be contacted on 5339 1742 or Rob on 0419 110 627. Although it does get rather busy at times, it is a most enjoyable day as you will meet many interesting people and see many different aircraft and activities happening. Please consider at least trying it once!...
