Trial Instructional Flight
Thinking of learning to fly, but not sure? Why not book a Trial Instruction Flight. Our instructor will spend about half an hour explaining how aeroplanes work and how to operate the controls. Recreational Flying (RAA Training)
RAA (Recreational Aircraft Australia) training is the most affordable way to fly. The Club has a Skyfox Gazelle, a Tecnam Sierra and a new Tecnam Bravo - perfect for RAA training. The Ballarat Aero Club is offering a new opportunity for secondary school students to undertake flying training as a part of their school studies. VISITORS
The Ballarat Aero Club welcomes visitors to our clubrooms so if you fly in to Ballarat please come in and meet us.
OFFICE HOURS
Monday – Friday 10 am to 4 pm. Clubrooms are open outside these hours when Instructors or Duty Pilots are present.
FOOD & DRINK
Are available from our canteen
BATHROOM
Toilet and Shower facilities are available in the Club. If Clubrooms are locked, public toilets are outside the fence on the Western apron or in the brick terminal building 200m East.
FUEL & OIL
AVGAS is available using your AIRBP card. If you don’t have one, the Club can supply fuel (Surcharge applies). Payment by Visa or Mastercard is available (American Express and Diners cards are not accepted)
